1. What is a Convenience Fee?

A convenience fee is a small charge applied to online payment transactions to cover the cost of processing payments through digital payment gateways. This fee is charged by our payment gateway provider (Razorpay) and is a standard industry practice across all online services in India.

At Shagun Bapla, convenience fees are already included in our displayed membership prices. You will NOT be charged any extra amount beyond what is shown on our pricing page.

The prices displayed on our website are final and inclusive of all charges. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges at checkout.

2. Payment Gateway Charges

Our payment gateway provider (Razorpay) charges the following industry-standard fees based on your payment method:

3. How Convenience Fees Affect Refunds

When you request a refund, please note that:

  • Gateway charges are non-refundable - Once a payment is processed, the gateway provider does not return their fee
  • GST (18%) is non-refundable to customers - This has already been deposited with the government
  • You will receive the base service amount minus gateway charges

Example: Refund Calculation

• Original Payment: ₹299
• GST (18%): -₹45.66 (non-refundable)
• Gateway Fee (2.5%): -₹6.33 (non-refundable)
• You Receive: ₹247.01
